An expert beauty plan, personalized red carpet skincare, and a bespoke makeup look…
For Heather and Jamie’s September wedding at the Pierre, we pulled out all the stops. Drawing inspiration from the couple’s wedding palette, the groom’s British heritage, and the personal style of the bride-to-be, Heather and I sought to create a modern and sophisticated, one of a kind beauty experience for her wedding day, and make it a memorable New York City occasion for all involved:
To achieve her glowing complexion, we consulted on boosting Heather’s existing facials and routine with choice skincare and wellness. Heather’s already-fantastic skin on the day-of was a dream, the result being bronzed, sheer, and effortless, just as she likes.
Heather and Jamie’s wedding palette was adorned in classic greenery and mixed metals, like antiqued-mirror table tops and dramatic satin-taupes like their bridal party’s dresses. We incorporated their palette while bringing out Heather’s amber-hazel eyes and lush lashes using golds and taupey pewters; party members received the same attention to detail.
An extra European touch was added by finishing the look in glowing, warm pinks thanks to Tilbury and NARS beauty, all while setting the mood in Heather’s Pierre bridal suite with a Diptyque candle.
Our final look was naturally glamorous and perfected, and Heather’s makeup remained beautiful and glowing all day and into the evening’s celebrations at the ballroom downstairs.

A modern take on timeless wedding beauty...
From day to night at Cedar Lakes Estate, Liza’s glowing skin and red carpet-worthy lashes, liner and lips made for an ultimate no-makeup makeup— a modern interpretation on a classic wedding look:
For maximum glow in the November outdoors, I prepped Liza’s fantastic skin with some of my red carpet skincare favorites. For a high-definition face, I applied base, blush and bronzer in modern cream to powder textures, chosen in nude, ‘her but better” colors found naturally in Liza’s complexion. Champagne golds and peachy-pinks added a radiant spotlit effect. The result took us from summer trial to winter rehearsal dinner and day of, and looked as beautiful in person and on camera as it did in daytime lighting and evening festivities.
On her perfect November wedding day at Cedar Lakes, Liza and Ian’s party members were all treated to the same care and attention, but Liza and her timeless beauty took center stage.

Timeless, personal, luxurious wedding beauty…
From our trial’s start, to engagement photos preceding, to the celebration post-ceremony, Katie’s wedding was quintessential New York City sophistication. We were inspired to create a personal makeup that complemented her playful charm, smart tastes and couture dress while also playing up her favorite features. In September at the Nomad, Katie’s final wedding glow, with its classic silhouette in modern textures and color, made for balanced, stylish wedding beauty:
For Katie’s base, we prepped her skin with a vitamin C mask for maximum brightness; foundation was used where needed, and glow added to the top of cheekbones, bridge of nose, cupid’s bone and top of chin with liquid highlighter. A summery holiday bronzing dressed the high points of her face— weddings in late summer to early fall like Katie’s are great for mixing summer glow with autumnal color and elegance.
Katie’s lips were the focal point of our enhanced, evening makeup, while her expressive eyes our day look: we trialled brighter and smokier, but landed on a neutral opal-bronze beige eyeshadow to give her eyes attention without dating or pinpointing a “season” to her makeup. Satin eyeliner was added for softness, with espresso pencil on top to create movement. To complementing— not compete with— her Reem Acra wedding dress, we chose a nude pink for the ceremony, and Katie’s own personal lipstick pop of pink-coral for the evening— a personal touch I insist we include when creating bespoke looks.
A liquid body glow on the tops of arms, chest, and shoulders further added to her bridal glow. The colors were all enhancing to Katie’s complexion and the silhouettes classic, so when she looks back at her wedding photos, she will always feel as gorgeous and timeless as she looked.

Brightened, dewy spring beauty for an ultimate wedding glow…
Draped in hydrating, translucent cream textures and color in pure, springtime pinky-coral, Rachel’s vibrant bridal glow for her Memorial Day Weekend wedding in Providence is one I love to emulate:
We started with a sheet mask, K-beauty skincare favourites, and an uplifting facial massage to give Rachel’s babyskin an indulgent glow— we consulted up until the day of, but preparing and working with her fantastic skin was easy thanks in large part to her. Translucent cream textures allowed ther natural radiance to shine through the makeup. Individual eyelashes gave an added lift and flutter, while a long-lasting lip color (aptly named, “Sweetheart”) complemented the entire look.

For her summer wedding, Eleni’s makeup is the essence of timeless, “you-but-better” beauty:
Eleni and I have known one another almost our entire lives: she is a beauty lover, and a natural beauty at that, so when she asked me to work with her for her June wedding, the answer was an easy ‘yes!’ I wanted to create a look special and unique to her: blooming peonies, Mediterranean daphne, blushing pinks and golden champagnes like in her palette and dress made for the epitome of you-but-better, June beauty for Eleni and her bridal party.
Leading up to her day-of, Eleni and I consulted on getting the most out of her skincare and diet, all the way up to to her pre-day-of nighttime routine. On the day-of, I treated her skin to a quick facial using skincare from REN, Tata Harper, and Charlotte Tilbury. A fresh gel-textured tinted moisturizer was used to sheerly even out Eleni’s already-glowing complexion only where coverage was needed. Champagne-gold highlights left her skin radiant and soft-focus in every light.
I added a wash of warmth in bronze and gold to Eleni’s eyes and applied a golden-brown eyeliner up and out. We chose to omit lip pencil and opted instead to follow her naturally full lip line with layers of lip color for longevity; a golden-peony blush matched her lips and flattered her olive complexion. Eleni’s gorgeous skin took center stage while the rest of her makeup remained fresh and polished, and wore beautifully all day and into the night.

Clean, purist beauty for a June outdoor wedding…
Justine’s wedding day was hosted on Red Maple Vineyard, a green and scenic venue. I stepped in for Justine’s original artist who couldn’t make it after all, but could tell right away that Justine is a fresh-faced beauty. For her makeup look, we quickly decided it should reflect her natural style and wedding day palette, taking notes from the rich surroundings. I was sure to treat Justine the same if not better than if I had been part of her entire wedding process:
A Korean sheet mask from my pro kit helped to add bounce and glow to Justine’s skin while we consulted. A fresh base was applied in a way that enhanced Justine’s skin and freckles, not masked it. Her eyes have a brightness to them I wanted to enhance, so I incorporated an eye-opening eyeline, lengthening mascara with individual eyelashes, and a nude inner eyeliner to add as much light as possible. Champagne highlights accentuated her features, while cream blush and bronzer added a natural glow to her skin.
The way wedding photo finals are often treated in post, the textures chosen have a way of creating subtle expression that looks real in person and on camera. Justine looked fresh and glowing for her June wedding, and I was glad to be a part.
“I am at a complete loss for words, he is absolutely fantastic! He is beyond talented, so knowledgeable, patient and couldnt be sweeter! My make up artist for my wedding had to cancel last minute but was able to connect me with Tommy in her place. I never had the opportunity to meet him, let alone do a trial with him but I told him the gist of what I was looking for and he totally made that a reality and so much more. He came so prepared and traveling over an hour and I put my total trust in him. I was complimented all night and have him to thank! I can't wait to work with him again!” - Justine, NJ

Wedding makeup fit for the red carpet:
Martha's wedding was the essence of New York City modern elegance, and her makeup inspiration was pure red carpet glamour. With black accents and a clean colour palette, we settled on a look fit for a celebrity on the red carpet:
On her wedding day, Martha and I prepped her skin with a quick facial from my pro kit favorites, including a nourishing clay mask and hydrating skincare. Her winter wedding fell on a sunny February day, calling for glowing winter-skin for her and her party: I used a combination of dewy and long-wear foundations based on each party member's complexions. The effect was youthful and radiant and lasted all wedding-day long.
I framed Martha's eyes in black and brown eyeliner with individual lashes, opting for nude shadows in champagnes and taupes. Well-placed bronzer and blush framed her face, while a nude-with-colour on Martha's lips let her eyes take center stage. The overall look was elegant and glamorous without being dark or smokey.

For her Upper East Side wedding, Marla had just one beauty request:
Create a flattering, long-lasting makeup that could last a June, New York City day and into her wedding night. With an ivory dress, white roses, and silver accessories, we created a feminine, smart, uptown makeup look, one that was personal and perfect to Marla's skintone, coloring, eyes, and style.
For Marla’s skin, I devised a cocktail of antioxidants, weightless hydration, and a BHA toner to brighten and balance her complexion, and prepare her skin for makeup. Long-lasting coverage was applied sparingly, where needed, and in thin layers for a barely-there finish–– leaving her skin able to withstand city heat, and appear polished without looking over done.
For center-stage eyes, Charlotte Tilbury's Luxury Palette in "The Uptown Girl" gave us a perfect smokey eye. Not only did its colors–– a champagne and lilac grey–– enhance Marla's eyecolour, it over all suited to her personality and wedding style. We finished the look with a beige inner eyeliner to brighten her eyes and pop her lashes.
For a summer glow, I swept matte bronzer over Marla’s forehead, cheeks, and bridge of her nose. A pinky blush and matching lipstick played nicely with our uptown girl eyes and lent an approachability and femininity to our finished look.
For Marla's mother, her makeup signature was an elongated eye and statement lip. We nourished and prepped her skin, then opted for a flawlessly fresh base. A cream-to-powder bronzer provided warmth while looking natural and real.
To give her eyes a sultry effect, we applied a long-lasting brown eyeliner only on the outer third of her eye. Tom Ford's "Cognac Sable" Eyeshadow Quad was a warm complement to her own blush dress and statement lips, and Marla's wedding look. Two lipstick colors gave volume and longevity—Marla's mother kept her own Laura Mercier "Belize" lipstick handy for touchups, although Marla told me the next day that both of their makeups had lasted all day and well into the night touch-up free.

For Sigal’s wedding beauty, Sigal and I created a look that maximizes on what nature has already blessed her with…
With a classic colour scheme, white flowers, and a beautiful black tie affair, the choices for Sigal's wedding makeup look were endless. Sigal herself is a natural makeup wearer and wanted to play up her eyes, so I designed a classic makeup look personalised to Sigal's complexion and features:
Months before her wedding, Sigal and I consulted on getting her skin looking its best. The night before her wedding, I gave Sigal an overnight mask for facial results in the morning. On the day of, I used a mix of glowing skincare and velvet complexion products to give her skin a red carpet finish: her skin practically appeared to be airbrushed in real life, and not just in photo.
I lined the top and bottom of Sigal's eyes in a deep brown eyeliner, not black, to bring out her natural almond eye shape and keep an air of timeless elegance. For a doe-eyed effect, I used a mix of short and medium individual lashes, I applied the mediums in the center of her eyes. I took inspiration from Sigal's pearls and adorned her cheekbones in a pearl-like highlight with a NARS Multiple in "Luxor". For a naturally youthful and glowing look, I applied blush high up on the apples of Sigal's cheeks; a classic pink lipstick by Lancôme complemented.
