An expert beauty plan, bespoke red carpet skincare, and a personalized makeup look:
For Heather’s September wedding at the Pierre, we pulled out all the stops. Drawing inspiration from the couple’s wedding palette of satin taupes and mixed metals, the groom’s British heritage, and from the personal style of the bride-to-be, Heather and I sought to create a modern, sophisticated, one-of-a-kind beauty experience for her wedding day, and make it a memorable New York City occasion for all involved.
Heather is a girl’s girl, and loves beauty almost as much as I do. Prior to her wedding day, we consulted on boosting her existing facials and routine with choice skincare and wellness. For her rehearsal dinner and wedding I treated and prepped her family members to my red carpet facial, including Dry Sheet Facial Masks from Charlotte Tilbury Beauty: our facial lifted away any signs of pre-wedding fatigue, making skin radiant and glowing. On her day of, polishing Heather’s fantastic skin was easy and left just as she liked it: bronzed, sheer, and effortless.
Heather’s wedding was adorned in classic greenery, mixed metals such as antiqued-mirror table tops, and dramatic satin-taupes like in her bridal party’s dresses. I decided to include her palette while bringing out Heather’s amber-hazel eyes and lush lashes, using golds and taupey pewters a la Pat McGrath’s Mercury Pigment eyeshadow. We added an extra European touch by finishing the look in glowing, warm pinks thanks to Tilbury and NARS beauty, all while setting the mood in Heather’s Pierre bridal suite with Diptyque.
Our final look was naturally glamorous and perfected, and Heather’s makeup remained beautiful and glowing all day and into the evening’s festivities at the ballroom downstairs.

A wedding makeup look fit for the red carpet:
Martha's wedding was the essence of New York City modern elegance, and her makeup inspiration was pure red carpet glamour. With black accents in an a white wedding colour palette, we settled on a look fit for a celebrity on the red carpet.
On her wedding day, Martha and I prepped her with my red carpet facial, including Charlotte Tilbury's Goddess Clay Mask. Her winter wedding fell on a sunny February day, calling for dewy skin for her and her party: I used a combination of Charlotte's Magic Cream, Light Wonder, and Magic Foundations based on each party member's complexions. The effect was youthful and glowing and lasted all wedding-day long.
I framed Martha's eyes in a small amount of eyeshadows in champagnes and taupes, with individual lashes and topping off with Tom Ford liquid eyeliner: the effect was chic, classic, and flirty, a la Angelina Jolie. We wanted a nude-with-colour on Martha's lips to let her eyes take center stage, so we opted for Tilbury's peachy-pinky girly nude "Bitch Perfect" K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick (who doesn't love that name). A rose-gold Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Highlighter gave Martha's skin a candlelit glow, while imparting a barely-there I'm-just-naturally-pretty blush. Her bridesmaid's black dresses lended themselves equally to chic black-kohl rimmed eyes. Without being heavy or smokey, the overall look was showstopping and elegant.

For her Upper East Side wedding, Marla had one beauty request:
Create a flattering, long-lasting makeup that could last a June, New York City day and into her wedding night. With an ivory dress, white roses, and silver accessories, we created a feminine, smart, uptown girl look, one that was personal and perfect to Marla's skintone, coloring, eyes, and style.
For Marla’s skin, I devised a cocktail of antioxidants, weightless hydration, and a BHA toner to brighten and balance her complexion, and prepare her skin for makeup. Long-lasting coverage was applied sparingly, where needed, and in thin layers for a barely-there finish–– leaving her skin able to withstand city heat, and appear polished without looking “done.”
For center-stage eyes, Charlotte Tilbury's Luxury Palette in "The Uptown Girl" gave us a perfect smokey eye. Not only did its colors–– a champagne and lilac grey–– enhance Marla's eyecolour, it over all suited to her personality and wedding style. We finished the look with a beige inner eyeliner to brighten her eyes and pop her lashes.
For a velvety, chic bronzing that capitalized on Marla's light tan, I swept a matte bronzer over her forehead, cheeks, and bridge of her nose. A pinky blush and matching lipstick played nicely with our uptown girl eyes and lent a demure girliness to our finished look.
For Marla's mother, her makeup signature was an elongated eye and statement lip. We nourished and prepped her skin, then opted for a flawlessly fresh base (Chanel's Vitalumiere). A NARS Multiple in bronzer "Malaysia" provided warmth while looking natural and real.
To give her eyes a sultry effect, we applied a long-lasting brown eyeliner only on the outer third of her eye. Tom Ford's "Cognac Sable" Eyeshadow Quad was a warm complement to her own blush dress and statement lips, and Marla's wedding look. I layered Tilbury lipsticks in "Walk of Shame" and "Amazing Grace" for volume and longevity. Marla's mother kept her own Laura Mercier "Belize" lipstick handy for touchups, although Marla told me the next day that both of their makeups had lasted all day and well into the night.

For her June wedding, Eleni’s makeup is the essence of timeless, “you-but-better” beauty:
Eleni is a beauty lover, and a naturally stunning beauty at that, so when she asked me to work with her for her June wedding, the answer was an easy ‘yes!’ We have known one another almost our entire lives, so I wanted to create a look special and unique to her. Blooming peonies, Mediterranean daphne, blushing pinks and golden champagnes like in her palette and dress made for the epitome of you-but-better, summertime beauty for Eleni and her bridal party.
Leading up to her day-of, Eleni and I consulted on getting the most out of her skincare and diet. The night before, Eleni did an overnight facial with Biologique Recherere’s P50; on the day-of, I treated her skin to a quick facial using skincare from REN, Tata Harper, and Charlotte Tilbury. I applied a fresh gel-textured tinted moisturizer, Chantecaille’s Just Skin, to sheerly even out Eleni’s already-glowing complexion, and used coverage only as needed. Champagne-gold highlights from Tilbury Gold Bar Highlighter left her looking radiant and soft-focus in every light.
I added a wash of colour to her eyes using Tom Ford’s “Honeymoon” palette and applied a golden-brown eyeliner up and out. We chose to omit lip pencil and opted instead to follow her naturally full lip line with layers of lip color for longevity; a golden-peony blush matched her lips and flattered her olive complexion. Eleni’s gorgeous skin took center stage while the rest of her makeup remained fresh and polished, and wore beautifully all day and into the night.

For Sigal’s wedding beauty, Sigal and I created a look that maximizes on what nature has already blessed her with:
With a classic colour scheme, white flowers, and a beautiful black tie affair, the choices for Sigal's wedding makeup look were endless. Sigal herself is a natural makeup wearer and wanted to play up her eyes, so I designed a classic makeup look personalised to Sigal's complexion and features.
Months before her wedding, Sigal and I consulted on getting her skin looking its best. The night before her wedding, I gave Sigal Charlotte Tilbury's Multi-Miracle Glow for an an overnight facial. On the day of, I used a mix of glowing skincare and velvet complexion products to give her skin a red carpet finish: her skin practically appeared to be airbrushed in real life, and not just in photo.
I lined the top and bottom of Sigal's eyes in a deep brown eyeliner, not black, to bring out her natural almond eye shape and keep an air of timeless elegance. For a doe-eyed effect, I used a mix of short and medium individual lashes, I applied the mediums in the center of her eyes. I took inspiration from Sigal's pearls and adorned her cheekbones in a pearl-like highlight with a NARS Multiple in "Luxor". For a naturally youthful and glowing look, I applied blush high up on the apples of Sigal's cheeks; a classic pink lipstick by Lancôme complemented.
Blushing bridal beauty, done in a classic, timeless way.
